Love the size and easy usage. So glad that I bought the microwave

Very large meal making microwave, and is a very good looking machine. Really like the way this one cooks !!!

Excellent so far - only had for a couple weeks so cannot speak to longevity. Bought this model because of inverter feature - and because the vent was on the rear, not the side. Ours is mounted in a built in cubby in cabinets and is supposed to have a certain clearance. Well - the inverter feature really works well - and the sensor reheat is a great feature - so that’s all good. However - in spite of one of the previous reviewers noting that the exhaust vent is on the rear in response to someone asking about that in the “questions” section - and the fact that I called customer service to verify - and they spent some time and effort doing so - Note That The Exhaust Vent Is Actually On The Side - if that matters to you. We were able to figure out a work around to accommodate it. So, in our short experience with it it has been excellent and I would buy it again. The inverter feature sets it apart from any of our previous microwaves.

This unit is the same wattage and size as my old microwave. The door on the old one stopped closing, ending its usefulness. The new oven has a digital knob instead of a numeric keypad. I’m not certain if it’s a plus or a minus. There seem to be more cooking options with the new model. The sensor cooking has more choices on dishes being heated. The popcorn function also has a couple more choices. The glass tray and ring it rides on are identical. This is a good oven for people who want a large microwave oven.

We were looking for a large counter-top microwave and Panasonic fit the bill. It is Retro, however. It has a dial for setting time and it is not exact. It starts out with 5 second increments and then jumps to 10 second increments after 2 minutes. It does have other instant settings like popcorn, quick minute and additional minutes. If you like your coffee at 1min 22 seconds you have to opt for 1 min 20 sec or 1 min 25 seconds as there is nothing under the 5 second mark. It works well and took a little adjustment to the dial. It does fit the large 8 x 13" pans on the turntable, so that is what I needed.

We love how large this microwave is and how easy it is to set with the dial. Love it!

Has lots of room for large Caseroles, Stainless blends in with any decor, pretty Quiet, Great Lighting!! Superb Item!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Needed a larger microwave oven, and I am satisfied with my purchase

(1) Bigger than other microwaves in the market, which I needed. (2) a lot of functions and works well. (3) nice stainless steel look

Love our new microwave. Was concerned about the dial but find it easy to use. Scrolling instructions make it easy to use in various ways - reheating, sensor cooking, thawing, etc. Only "down" is it is difficult to see inside to check for boiling water. Replaced a Panasonic we had for years with this one and have no regrets!

Love the size and power of the microwave. The opening push in button feels sketchy like it won't last. Hoping for the best.

We bought this microwave to replace a built in Thermidor model. It was the only one we could find that would fit into the space. Given that, it was well rated,. My husband particularly likes the dial setting for timing and cooking. It has a one minute quick cook feature. Our prior microwave was 30 seconds, which I find I used more. Not quite used to all the different features. It is very powerful. We occasionally have trouble with the door opening, but again this might be related to putting it into an already built in space. Frankly, we were just very glad we found something that fit.

This was a replacement unit and I was very surprised at how easily the unit is to work. Setup was minimal. Reasonably priced, the unit does offer a lot of sensory features for cooking and reheating. The ability to adjust your sensory settings before you cook or reheat is helpful. Foods cook much more evenly and because of the sensory control, in less time. Reheating is quick and even. Defrosting works extremely well. I just wish I could program certain functions into memory without having to go through the procedure each time. But overall, I believe this is a good machine, with a good price and a lot of features I did not find on other ovens.

I had to replace my Panasonic microwave which I had purchased from Best Buy nearly 15 years ago. I was very happy to discover the same model was still made and that one was available. With only some minor changes, it’s the same Panasonic Prestige I originally owned, a tribute I think to how well-designed and functional the original was. It’s a model with extremely well thought out controls that are so intuitive written instructions are hardly necessary. My first one performing timed flawlessly until it failed, which after 15 years seems a pretty great bargain. I would personally highly recommend this model to anyone.

We've been Panasonic fans for over 25 years. This microwave is a great one and we're loving it. Easy to operate and works really well.

Was skeptical buying a new microwave. Reviewed several models. My GE stopped working after 20 years. It was 1600 watts. Can't find those now, decided to try Panasonic. So far, it's been great and even though it's only 1250 watts it heats and cooks faster than my old one - probably because of the new technology. Happy with product so far.
