It is the perfect size. It fits our space and is large enough for cooking everything. The buttons are laid out in an easy to use manner. Love the One minute button.

This microwave does the job and does it well. While it's a larger unit, it has a good deal of space inside, and I appreciate the 'keep warm' feature and having the knob instead of a numeric keypad is not nearly as bothersome as I thought it would be. My only complaint (while super minor) is that the alert once the timer expires is not loud at all and only beeps twice, making it easy to miss.

Replaced my 15 year old Panasonic with this one. This one has the nice quick knob feature. Heats up food quick and evenly. Built in LED light will last longer than a traditional bulb.

I love the digital display and the dials. The door closes without having to push very hard. Nice all around! I'm able to evenly cook items I was unable to in our older microwave.

Inverter microwaves are definitely worth the money. Cooking is so much more consistent. We like the dial-based control panel. The built-in oatmeal setting works great without boiling over; maybe a tad undercooked. Sensor reheat has done a great job so far. It runs fairly quiet in my opinion.

The turbo defrost is the best defrost I've ever had! Hamburger was perfectly defrosted with no cooked or frozen spots. They must have fixed the latch because ours closes easily. I realize it's new and cooks faster but I am pleased with the speed it cooks and how evenly things cook. I am able to put several dishes in mine and I have not found a cold spot yet.

This microwave is perfect for the needs of my family. I especially like the size and features of this microwave.

I've had the same model for over five years and still works great. Replaced another Brand with this Panasonic. The model hasn't changed in years because it is very good and reliable. Most other microwaves I've had break in less than two years (but longer than the one year warranties). My old Panasonic is over five years and still going strong. Too bad they only make countertop microwaves.

I had the same microwave that I bought 2 years ago. It stopped working and I needed to replace it. This time I bought the microwave and a 4-year extended warranty. There appears to be a common issue with the door mechanism that causes failure. Panasonic microwaves are not up to par with the microwaves that were available 10+ years ago.

It's a nice microwave and the price was right. The timer is twist-handle instead of a more conventional individual numbered push button timer. This makes it a little tough to get the desired time; often overshoot the intended time and then need to roll back. Also, i have not figured out how to get less than 10 second intervals after 60 seconds. Finally, I paid for an extended warranty and was told it was emailed, but i have not recored of it coming. I love this microwave because of its' size and easy to understand programming.

Our old microwave lost so much power that it wasn't heating things properly when we followed the directions on microwavable items we bought. The Panasonic NN-SD987SA is powerful and has all the features we wanted. Large glass turntable and stainless steel surfaces are easy to clean. And we love the dial time programmer, no more beep buttons for everything you do.

Very easy to use, good size and very convenient. I'm very happy with it.
