Our first lasted about 8 yrs and we loved it so much we purchased another just like it. For us, this is well worth the money.

Great for all cooking

I never realized the cooking technology with microwaves has improved so much. Our old "turn the dial and heat" microwave finally blew up, it could damage food regularly. This new microwave seems to have a smart cooking feature in it, as it can cook or warm or thaw food with settings and not turn the food into rubber or wood, lol. The popcorn feature is great too. Most popcorn packages say "do not use popcorn setting"; what's up with that. I use the popcorn setting on this microwave and it will pop almost every kernel in the bag and not burn the 1st piece of popcorn. GREAT Microwave.

Was not sure if I would like using the knob for the timer settings but after a couple times I loved it! Opening mechanism feels very flimsy, hoping it lasts.
