I haven't had any problems yet with the infamous door issues yet, but I don't slam the door either. After reading the reviews I bought the microwave, with an extended warranty, plus my credit card doubles any extended warranty terms, so I am covered for at least 4 years. I bought it on sale for under $200 and it is a really nice microwave. I also like that it had a blue display, vs the other option had a green display. I wanted all the appliances to match. I would recommend the microwave, because they are basically the same manufacturer anyways with the inverter technology. I would also suggest a surge suppressor to help stop any electrical surges that could fry the circuit board.

Bought this microwave to replace a smaller unit. Seems to work well. The user interface is interesting in that it has a dial to set the time and other values such as defrost time. I don't care for the way the time steps when turning the dial. I do like the way the defrost time sets based on entering the weight of the product. It would be nice if you could turn on/off the beep function when complete without having to power cycle the unit. The LED internal light is very useful when cooking. It would be nice if it stayed lit after the time was up for a while, maybe until the door was opened.

Everything works as advertised. Simple controls. Large area for cooking or heating. price was reasonable. sensor feature is nice to use, or just turn the knob and hit start.

My wife and I have been very pleased with this microwave oven; it seems to be well-constructed, and the owner's manual explains the various functions clearly. The door opens via the large button in the lower right corner; the oven is sufficiently heavy to not move while pressing on this button. The multitude of presets give one many options for cooking. The large volume allows for using larger cooking dishes, which was a factor in our selecting this microwave oven. Highly recommend this appliance.

So far, so good. Seems much more reliable than the LG it replaced and it is super easy to use. Big fan so far.

Unit replaces a previous unit. Although a little different fit perfectly. Seems to be working great. Using the dial is new to me but works great.

This microwave is worth the money! The tech that allows for even heating is amazing. The sleek design makes this suitable for modern design kitchens as well.

We purchased 8 years ago the version of this microwave. I feel that Panasonic makes excellent microwaves. Looking to get 8+ years out of a microwave. Most microwaves either take to long to cook or die out after a few years. This microwave is everything we were looking for. We thought using a dial instead of buttons would be a problem, but we have gotten used to using the dial to set the timer. This is also a quiet microwave. We got it for a cheaper price due to Best Buy lovely price match guarantee. If you don't mind spending the money for a microwave that we'll last you for years, this is the one for you.

The Panasonic Microwave is everything that was advertised and more. It has performed perfectly and intuitively. I don't go a day without marveling at its ease of use.

Replaced an old Viking. Was apprehensive of the performance of this Panasonic at such a lesser price, but it did not disappoint.

The controls are easy to understand and set to your needs, but I found out that it goes from lightly cooked to totally nuked in a short timeframe. It's powerful! Overall, happy with my purchase.

The larger capacity inside this microwave makes making bigger roasts and quantities easier to handle. The extra power makes cooking with the microwave faster.

The control panel is a bit unusual but intuitive and easy to get used to. The unit itself very large and can fit a large casserole dish. Very quiet also.

This microwave is great for a bigger family as it has plenty of room inside. A bit large for a small counter, but luckily we had a designated place for it.
