I hope this one lasts at least as long. Bought the Best Buy Geek Squad 4 year extended protection just in case it dies prematurely though. I think Panasonic is the only brand that has a menu dial to program automatic cooking. Its easy to use and has 18 different settings from oatmeal to fish fillets for sensor cooking. No need to push a bunch of buttons. And Panasonic's inverter technology cooks/heats food evenly.

The best microwave, and has been for years.

I have looked at other brands, but none remotely compare to the functionality and reliability of this Panasonic. Yes, I could have had previous ovens repaired, but not at the cost of a new one. This one was less than $200. Typically, I get about 4 - 5 years life out of these ovens, and it is by far the most used kitchen appliance I own. Well, maybe the refrigerator gets more use, but only because it is a necessity. And, yes, I use it more than the coffee pot.
