POWERFULL, looks good, controls not simple

Read the manual - the controls are not intuitive and take some thought at first. We love the much larger rotating cooking surface. Not particularly good at popcorn - the center aggregation of popped kernels tend to burn. Wonderful for everything else!

This is my second current Panasonic. The first one had to be returned due to malfunction of this button. My second one is working ok but I feel that the button will not endure for any length of time (just a suspicion).

Cooks Fast, Looks Nice

The dial is nice, although I mostly use the quick minute feature. I was a little disappointed that the more/less button wasn't for adding more time while cooking like other microwaves I've had, but is instead for changing pre-programmed times (i.e., popcorn, potato, etc.). Not a deal breaker though. Everything cooks much faster thanks to the high wattage. Overall, I like this and plan on buying a couple more for the rest of the house.
