We have been using a microwave that was over 25 years old and it was fine but you had to adjust all the times as it was not as powerful as packaging instructions.... For 10 years we've been waiting for it to die before replacing it and it finally did. Should have replaced it long ago. This microwave is terrific! I of course looked at all the ratings and reviews before actually purchasing this one. Love it!

I consider my purchase of the Panasonic - 2.2 Cu. Ft. Full-Size Microwave one of my (pardon the pun) Best Buys. Our family has been hard on microwaves. We have gone through three in the past two years. This one also has a true "defrosting" system which makes cooking in it a snap. It is full size and can cook a nice sized turkey in it. I am very pleased with its many features and ease of use.

We bought this microwave to replace one almost the same as this one, except the old one had a difficult to see stainless steel with black print type display. This new one has a black face with white printing, which is much easier to see.

Easy to use; revolving glass floor provides even cooking

Nice and big. I can put all that I want into to defrost or heat up. The inverted defrost works as stated and that the feature that I'm most pleased with. Easy to use no problems. We are on our 3rd year and still going strong. Am glad we got this!

This microwave is better than expected. Has lots of features that I have not used yet.

This microwave replaced one that was 30 years old, so it's a BIG change for me. I use it to cook entire meals; it does a really good job at higher heat while still being energy efficient, and the turntable means I don't have to keep turning the food. I'm still learning the features but the Quick Minute button is wonderful. And I like that it's so polite. (It always tells me to enjoy my meal.)

I like the large capacity microwave oven and all the feature functionality this model offers.

Microwave over all seems good, the large capacity is great. the turn table design leaves a lot to be desired, but it works ok as long as you place everything in properly. Certain pre program settings you have to go into a sub menu in order to get them to operate, but once you get used to it, it's not terrible. unfortunately, 1 1/2 months after i purchased the microwave, i found it for $30 less.....

This was a replacement microwave and am very satisfied with the performance.

Purchased this microwave about a month ago, and so far there haven't been any problems. I ordered this from BestBuy.com and it arrived in only 2 days! It was packaged well, and though there was a hole in the box that had been punched sometime in shipping, there was no damage to the unit. Easy to set up the clock. We have not used all the features yet, but have used it for normal cooking, thawing of beef, pork, fish, etc, quick-cooking potatoes, and had have no problems. Easy to operate as well. I almost got a cheaper one, but have decided that this one was well worth the expense. Definitely recommend!

I bought this microwve to replace a much smaller kenmore microwave which failed to deliver. Another store stopped carrying this particular model, so I went on over to best buy to get this. I'm always having to defrost many large things like ribs, whole chciken, etc. so I needed the room and my freezer works a little too good so I needed a microwave with a high wattage to get the job done. With the 1250w, I usally have to shave off a minute or two off of the reccomnded cooiking times for various meals/foods, and that does take some time to get the knack of. Sensor cook allows me take guess work out of cooking for many foods, such as potatoes. Just poke some holes in thoses babies, press sensor cook-potato and viola! spuds bakes to perfction every time. Big size, big power and big features means big value!
