This was a recommended consumer reports best buy for price and performance. So far, it has performed as advertised and was a welcome replacement for a twenty year old veteran which was still working ok, but beginning to show its age. I am pleasantly surprised by the increased utility of this machine which has made cooking much easier and productive.

Good at a lot of sites to find one this size. Best Buy had the right size and right price. I am very happy with this purchase. If you are looking for a larger microwave, this is the one.

After my 9 year old Panasonic finally died I decided to go with the same brand again. Why mess with success ! Could not be happier. The new hi-tech Sensor Cook feature is amazing. Scroll through the menu on the display to the type of food you are cooking and press the Sensor Cook button and the microwave automatically senses when the food is ready .. No need to set the cooking time. Same thing goes for the Sensor Reheat feature. The manual is well written and cross referenced to find feature descriptions. The cooking chart with suggested power levels and cooking times is extremely accurate. We have tried cooking and reheating over 75% of the foods in the chart and they have turned out perfect every time. At 2.2 cubic feet there is plenty of room for tall / wide dishware. The wide interior space is really nice as it allows wider items to rotate freely on the turntable without hitting the sides as it turns. Recommend this model highly.

Had my old microwave for 25 years and this was it's replacement I love it easy to use. The defrost is amazing.

Good general design and functionality. Not much you can say about a microwave these days. It looks good, it works well. I recommend it.

This microwave is "be all, do all" of microwave ovens! There is nothing that it can't handle. It browns, defrosts, cooks and warms. User friendly controls make anyone seem like a pro!

The microwave has been a blessing compared to the old one we had. It heats food faster and has so many new options.

The Wife and I had this same microwave but in a smaller size. We really liked it and decided to get the same brand but in the bigger size!

Replaced a preceeding model after 12 years of service. Don't know it this one will last as long but, let's hope it does. The inverter is great. It maintains a constant level of power and heats very consistently. Much quieter than my previous MWs. My only issues are 1. Really need a right-hinge door but, nobody makes them, 2. It blocks my Wi-Fi signal when running.

Super product for a good price; large enough to accomodate most anything. Last similar Panasonic microwave I bought lasted over 20 years, and this one is so much more high-tech and lighter in weight. Used now for 2 months with no issues; re-heat feature is awesome. Be careful with the popcorn auto feature -- cooks too long and burns most microwave popcorn.

We are very happy with this unit so far. After reading reviews of many somewhat comparable models, all with various pitfalls, we ended up with this one and it is performing very well. No issues so far (although I miss the funky sounds from my previous Sharp microwave).

We bought this to replace an older microwave that was pretty basic. The new Panasonic model has sensor cooking and sensor reheat that does not require you putting in a time. It monitors cooking and turns off when done.

The only problem I have with the microwave is, not as tall as last one i owned and wider not fitting on my cart. Other than that very good if not better than the Sharp i had before.

This purchase replaced an older version of the same mircrowave which I had for 10+ years. Scored well on Consumer Reports. All Panasonic products I own function well and last long.

I bought this unit to replace my old microwave. I purchased it online and picked it up in the store. I thought it was the same size as my old unit but it is not. The unit is huge which is not a problem because I like to have my microwave at eye level. I have it on top of my microwave cabinet not inside it (it would not fit anyway.) It may be too big to put on a counter. It is very easy to use and is very powerful. It cooks evenly. My wife loves it.

Talked to the sales person at best buy, he was very knowledgeable. Helped make our decision, microwave works great. Much better than our old one, which was only 2 years old.

This microwave works as advertised. I have not owned it long enough to speak to its durability, but the features are excellent. I especially like the inverter defrost feature.

Love this microwave; size is wonderful - fits a 9 x 13 dish. Cooks faster than my old one.

Nice size for counter top microwave. Easy one step cooking control.very powerful and even cooking.
