This is a replacement for a Sharp microwave from 1996 and it is an excellent microwave. I don't do whole meals in it but the power is good and I like the variable cooking levels.

I have had many opportunities to use microwave appliances that are built to minimal "commodity" standards. Functional, but lousy in a way. This microwave is outstanding for its quality. Button-feel is great, the door opener is positive and quiet, the fan noises are not cheesy and tinny sounding. The large, easy-to-read back-lit LCD display is informative and attractive. This appliance was manufactured in white-- coordinates with our white appliance kitchen theme. My comment above wanting a count-down for Sensor Cook is nonsense, you know. The Sensor depends on a certain moisture level being reached by the exhaust air flow. It's not possible to anticipate the time needed for this... it really is the product of a sensor measurement in real-time. But honestly, that's the only thing I could pick on, and as much as I know the function can't be timed, I'd like a countdown timer. Just would like to know how soon I can get my oatmeal out of the oven and turn it over to the next warming/cooking task.

Large capacity & gets food hot fast. I have only owned for 1 month so time will tell if it lasts.

got this to replace old old microwave of the same size. this one is great and at a great price.

Highly recommend this microwave. We replaced our last microwave, also a Panasonic, after 10 years and this is the most similar model. Lots of power, easy to clean, Love it!

this was recommended by consumer reports and has performed well beyond my expectations. the sensor cooking feature tends to overheat, but that would be my only complaint.

I had this same model but it died. I like the size, the options and the color. I hope the numbers don't bubble like my old one did.

This microwave has a lot of options and a lot of power. Defrosting frozen meat takes half the time of our old microwave.

I loved my microwave. It works like I want it to. It is not noisy. It is the right size.

This u-wave as a large cooking area and is much quieter than the 15 year Tappan that it replaced. I really like that I can turn off the clock display. I don't need four clocks in my tiny kitchen. My only minor complaint is that the buttons have to be pushed right in the center. I actually have to look when I hit a key.

I researched this microwave before purchasing. I wanted a microwave I could cook a meal in, not just reheat. I am able to accomplish that without overcooking.
