i looked at many other microwaves, for the size and price i thought it was a good buy, and the help in the store was very good at answering all my questions, i am very happy with this item.

The Panasonic microwave has a number of features I like. It has extra large capacity to fit large items such as a Thanksgiving turkey or ham. The inverter technology ensures that your food cooks evenly. My only criticism is that the door is a bit hard to close. An all-around good appliance.

Many great features and very well made, as I would expecf from Panasonic. Very good value with very few negitives. The automatic sensors seem to work very well for most foods. My biggest complaint is having to push power level button, multiple times, to reduce power instead of simply entering a number like some models. Also I fail to understand why white is $10 more than black but no really big deal. Overall, I would recomend this product over most of the more expensive models.

Too bad they don't offer this unit in the stores. But, on the other hand I was able to buy the micro cheaper and have it delivered to my door. I just had to wait a couple of extra days and it was worth it. The micro is the largest countertop I could find with the highest wattage available. It cooks fast and thoroughly (see above comments on overall rating). At this point I am totally pleased and recommend the unit to anyone that needs/wants a larger micro. Charlie

This is the second Microwave of this model that I have bought. I used the first one for several years and loved the features, full size and high (1200 watts) output. The defrost, popcorn, and other selections work great. I have owned many microwaves over the years made by many manufacturers with very little features up to about all the bells and whistles you can get on a microwave but not one of those compares favorably with this one. I would not hesitate to reccommend it to anyone.

Before I purchase this microwave, I've used to small size microwaves for years. But sometimes they are really annoying: 1. you can't put some large plate into them. 2. It took me more time to heat food. I'm quite satisfy with this one. Although it doesn't look fancy. But it's quite roomy, now I can put a large Pizza into it!! Plus, the price is unbeatable. In such a price range, this is the best full size microwave you can get.

We haven't used many of the features yet, so I can only comment on the overall ease and effectiveness of the cooking. It cooks much faster than our old microwave, so there is an adjustment period for us to find the right cooking level and time, but this is not a bad thing. It cooks evenly and consistently, which is what we needed. It is far lighter in weight than our old one, which is a plus. Although the door push button on this one works okay so far, we had to return the first one we brought home because the button was already defective right out of the box. You have to give it a good, solid push to pop the door open. It is a bit awkward. I would much prefer a handle on the door like our old microwave had. This is the only negative we have found so far.

This later version of the Panasonic 2.2 Cu. Ft. Full-Size Microwave has been more reliable than its predecessor, so far. We have been using it for over a month. The previous version's door would catch and refuse to open when the heated food heated up the oven's case. The new one's door is not affected by the heat of hot food. This later version has buttons for start and stop, where the previous version had touch pads. The plastic on the previous version's touch pads were peeling off. This new version has additional features like a message to enjoy your meal when it finishes cooking it. Not necessary, but clever.

What more could you want out of a microwave? It heats food fast and has a nice sleek look.

Great quality, fantastic price, big enough for a 9x11 casserole dish. The only MINOR drawback is it has 1250W of power and that means there's a bit of a learning curve on how much time/power to use since most microwave directions specify a 1000W oven. Kind of like getting behind the wheel of a sports car after driving a 4cyl station wagon for years... Once you get used to that this microwave is great.

Once out of the box it just set it on the counter and plugged it in and it worked beautifully

So many reviews I read on Microwaves were not based on the owners likes or dislikes of the product but on dings or scratches and or shipping problems. This made it very difficult to chose. I like this microwave because I have used Panasonic Microwaves in the past and have never had any problems. It is easy to use and works exactly as described and expected. I do wish it had been available in stainless steel but the fact that it did not does not have any bearing on my review score.

This is a really big microwave so you can reheat larger portions easily!

Bought this because it was available in white, had the features I wanted and the Inversion technology sounded good. And it's not a General Electric. After two GE lemons I swore off buying any more GE microwaves. Took it home and used it a few times, to my satisfaction. That night I had an email from Panasonic replying to my inquiry asking which of several trim kits they have is the correct one for this one. Answer: None. This model doesn't have a trim kit. So, it goes back to Best Buy tomorrow. Sorry, Panasonic, but why would you not have a trim kit for a microwave this size?

I had Panasonic microwave for 9 years and I am buying Panasonic again. I am using it for about 7 months now. Didn't find anything wrong with it. works like a clock-work, nothing to complain about.

We bought this microwave over 4 years ago. The microwave still works just as well as the day we brought it home, and has been through heavy use. When I say Heavy use please understand I have five people in my family and we use it several times every single day. This poor machine has been through war. It has lived through spills, slams, a forgotten fork, and button mashing galore. If it is tough enough to survive my three boys for over 4yrs, I can say with certainty that this is one tough, well built machine! I would absolutely recommend this machine to anyone.

Have used an inverter microwave for a few years now. 1st was a GE profile, but this one wins hands down. Popcorn button even works. Great for reheating and cooking food thoroughly without leaving any cold spots.

This is easily the best microwave I have had. The sensor cook and the sensor reheat options are really cool! Got leftovers? Hit ONE button, sensor reheat, and it heats your food evenly throughout the dish without overcooking the edges and shuts off when it's done. How cool is that? No more staring at the microwave waiting for something to bubble then take it out and stir or rearrange it then put it back in. For the features this unit has, the competitors were easily $100 or more higher in price. It's one of the roomiest units as well with the 2.2cuft of space. Even if you're not on a budget, this is a great buy and does everything the description says it does.

THIS IS THE BEST MICROWAVE EVER!!!!! IT IS HUGE, WHICH FOR ME IS A GOOD THING. IT IS 1250 WATTS, MAKING THIS MICROWAVE ONE OF THE MOST POWERFUL MICROWAVES ON THE MARKET. I LOVE THE DIGITAL DISPLAY. NOT ONLY DOES THIS PANASONIC MICROWAVE BEEP FIVE TIMES WHEN THE FOOD IS DONE, IT SAYS "ENJOY YOUR MEAL" AS WELL. I CANT SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT THIS PRODUCT. I LOVE, LOVE , LOVE THIS MICROWAVE. DO NOT HESITATE TO BUY THIS ONE. I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!

This was a great purchase for the price. I can fit 9" x 13" Baking dish. The defrost setting is great and works well. The commands or prompts tell you when to turn over the food on defrost setting. I can place three small to medium casserole dishes to re-heat food or cook a whole meal. It has variable power settings to program when cooking a food that requires different settings. The Keep Warm option should be programmed when you program the cooking time and power levels. If not set before your meal is cooked, you will have to open the microwave door and then set Keep Warm after your meal is cooked. It also has delay-time feature to hold off turning the microwave on before starting to cook or reheat your food. The independent timer is a great feature. All-in-all you can not go wrong buying this microwave. I have owned it for two years and I really like it. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. A great price for your money.
