Purchased this in December 2014 like many others with issues. The door was sticky when we got it - you would have to push in really hard sometimes 2-3 times to get the door to open. Best Buy said it was not a returnable defect. I contacted Panasonic and they said it was also not a returnable defect. We liked the microwave so we kept using it. That was my mistake. As the door continued to be an issue, we also randomly would have times where it would overcook or undercook something...usually overcook. I thought it was the product at first, but when it became more than one product I began to wonder. 1 year and 3 months into our purchase, the microwave began turning off for no reason. It would sometimes power itself back on, other times it would power on the next time you opened or closed the door. This went on for a few weeks. Panasonic said it was out of warranty and would cost more than the value to send it in. My last microwave from Best Buy lasted us 12 years, so no...I did not buy the extended warranty. Today the microwave has died officially. It is less than 1-1/2 years old. Out of warranty and nothing I can do with it. $200 gone. Oh, for the record, my mother's $100 LG microwave that we got her at the same time for Xmas is running like a champ. Very disappointed. I will never buy a Panasonic microwave again. I would like to say that when it was working as expected, it was a great microwave. Just wish for $200 it would have worked better for longer.

Replaced previous model from 6 years ago. Great value!

i bought this microwave 1 1/2 years ago and today one of the latches that holds the door closed just broke off (they're made of plastic). On top of this the microwave is terribly hard to open, too much force is needed to press the button in my opinion.

To date it has been an excellent oven. I will buy another one in 10 years.

This had to replace another Panasonic. I am unsure these days as to why so much is charged for items that do not have proper 'buttons'. I do not like digital touchpad because they wear out, yet the stop/start and clear button are a hard plastic. For being a "now" generation product this is one of the noisiest microwaves I've owned in 25 years. This surprises me and I do not care for it.

Nice size, good wattage, large turntable. Just what I needed.

Overall please, oven is good quality. After 7 month oven stopped working, under warranty, but looked at it myself before spending cost to send off. Only a $1.56 blown fuse, and $16 for special drill bits to open back. Inside oven labeled fuse as 20 Amp 120 Volt, fuse they installed was not, it was 20 Amp 250 Volt, replace with same works fine.

Works as advertised. Very happy with product. Bought it to replace an older 2.2 cubuc ft microwave oven.

Great microwave for about 10 months- then it died. I've had microwaves for 10 years plus- this one 11 months. And Best Buy was no help- they penalize you for not buying the protection plan. So I'm stuck with a $200 landfill item. I'll never buy Panasonic again.

This is our 3rd Panasonic microwave oven over a 43 year period. Wouldn't buy anything else.

This is my 3rd Panosonic Microwave. Had one for 9yrs, 5yrs, and 1 week, respectively. The 2nd one went bad when the turn table would turn when I opened the door. About 1 week later it just wouldn't work at all. Before I purchased my most recent one, 1 week ago today, I got on line and read all the customer reviews. Did I pay attention to the many negative reviews about the door button? NOOOOOO. (Sigh.) And guess what... It's only 7 days old and the door button wants to stay pushed in.!!! Folks, take a lesson from me. If you go to the trouble of reading the reviews take them seriously. Now I'm going to have to pack it back up and return it, all because I ignored the warnings.

I was rather disappointed with this Panasonic microwave. The controls and features were great, but it began to malfunction three days after our purchase. Foods were not getting fully cooked, and a couple of times it actually shut off by itself. I originally thought that there was something wrong with the electrical outlet, but an electrician checked it out and found it functional. I returned the unit, but didn't have the guts to try another Panasonic. Best Buy handled the return very smoothly.

I love it for about two weeks, before it just stop working.

DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE. It was purchased May 2011 and in the shop for repair in February 2012, not even a year old! It was totally inoperative with an "H97" Error Code. They had to replace the Magnetron and the Inverter. Fortunately, it was still under manufacturer's warranty (1 year) for both parts and labor, so we didn't have to pay to get it fixed, but we had to take it in for repair and pick it up with the closest repair shop over 50 miles away. Then, it stopped working again another year later and no longer under warranty! DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE!!!

Love It and a great price! Got it on sale and love.
