This microwave has an abundance of features that are really handy.

I haven't had very long, but so far I like it. The plate is 16 1/2 inches in diameter which is 1/2 inch bigger than the other 2.2 cu. ft. microwaves, which is good. My old Sharp microwave when you touched the quick minute it started automatically. This one requires you to hit the start button.

This microwave is very roomy...big enough for an entire meal!

Glad I could find one just like my old one that lasted 20 yrs which was a Panasonic genius. Only negative is when I want to defrost something small like a bagel you need to push power mode from 10 down to 3. I had to look it up in the book. My old one I just pushed defrost then what ever time. If you defrost something large like meat there is a turbo button and you put in weight. Other than that I love it because it is so similar to my old one, the Panasonic that didn't let me down for 20 yrs.

does what a microwave should. good size, clean look and nicely built.

We had a 1.5 cu 1000 watt microwave which started having trouble about a year after we bought it. Most of the items we use in the microwave recommend at least 1100 watts. We trust the Panasonic name. This microwave is 2.2 cu and 1250. It has plenty of room, it cooks quickly, and is very easy to use. We also like the sensor reheat option.

The microwave as a whole works well and thoroughly heats the food. The look of the unit is modern, but one small issue that I have is that the plastic covering on the numberpad is starting to peel off of the frequently used numbers after only about a month of use. If this is the only issue that I have with this unit, it will have been a good purchase.

Over the years we have owned numerous Microwave Ovens. This one is a larger size than my last one and as such gives me plenty of room to work with food. I like the quietness of the motor. It is nice looking and complements my kitchen.

it does the usual things that microwaves do, but it does some of them better than other microwaves I have owned, such as making popcorn. I push the popcorn control and then push start, and the microwave weighs the bags of popcorn and stays on long enough to prepare them. They come out a little well done, which is the way I like them.
