I took it for granted that if it had a timer I would not be limited to use this massive box as just a timer. That's ridiculous. How often are you cooking one dinner's dish in the microwave, and timing another item that's on the stove? Very often in may case. Why even include a timer if it works like this?

Wow, this unit is very powerful & cooks items evenly with a 161/2" dish it can accommodate almost anything. From heating meals to my popcorn this unit is A+
