The quality of picture for 4K is superb and so is the sound quality. Blu-ray and DVD pictures are improved from their corresponding players. For the price I would definitely recommend. In addition, I bought mine as a open box and after a few months the player stopped working properly. I contacted Geek Squad and the manufacturer and I was able to receive a new player. *Expect some Good Use from this Product*

Finally upgraded from regular 1080p

With all the HDR formats out there, jumping from 1080p to HDR10 since their release is a huge jump. This blu ray is great! It plays my blu ray collection great. I was using a PS4 for my blu ray playback and happily impressed.

I do, however, have an issue with Best Buy, who gave me a difficult time returning this unopened item because they "aren't taking returns" the day I took it back. I typically like Panasonic, though this is cheap. What I do like from the specs is that it is dumb and not "smart".
