DVD player is decent and easy to use. Doesn't connect by wifi to use with streaming apps

This is a very good straightforward device with all the important features we wanted -- excellent, sharp 4K picture, Dolby Atmos audio compatibility for Blu-ray disks with Dolby, and reliable operation. We don't need or want another "smart" device (we have several), we just want to be able to play old disks we have available and an occasional new Blu-ray disk. This player is exactly what we needed, and it works great!

When you want to watch a high quality movie it starts with the basics, great TV nice quiet space and a quality player to play all the new and old dvd’s in your collection.

I am extremely pleased with this player! It doesn't have all the bells ond whistles, but is a high quality reliable player. Picture is sharp and clear. Sound is wonderful. Highly recommend it to those who want a top quality simple player.

Easy to setup, looks great in 4k, and the Dolby Atmos Ultra HD movies sound great on my theater system.

I like this because no money is wasted on unnecessary things like streaming features, multiple outputs, and a bunch of junk unrelated to playing back high quality video. It doesn’t even have a digital display, but who needs it? For this to play HDR 10+ at this price is insane and it looks great!

It’s ok but lacks features that other 4K blu ray players have. Having no built in WI-FI is just fine but watching a movie is not worth it. You can pause it but you can’t go frame by frame like with the Sony 4K Blu Ray players.

This is a well made DVD player and it works well with my DVDs.

I'm going to start off with a quick "No" this one. If you're still with me, let's talk about why I came to that conclusion. First , let's open up the box. Tearing into this box, get's you the bluray player, a power source and a remote with 2 AAA batteries. In all honesty, that's all you'll need to get started watching your blurays. Unless you plan on getting a quick update for all of the latest software to properly run your Ultra HD discs and maybe even those 3D blurays you've planning on watching. The only issue wiith that is this, You'll need to connect to the enter-webs to get that update and going to require a ethernet LAN cable, because there's no WiFi capabilities. So now you'll need to be near your modem to plug it in. But wait! There's more. This doesn't come with the cable in the box. Now you'll need to go on a scavenger hunt to find a cable that you thought you'd never need again. In all fairness, you probably didn't think you'd be using your bluray discs again either, so i can see where we are on that. With all that taken into account, let's talk about how much this thing is( You saw the price before you got to me, I'm sure.) This brings up the question of, if this costs this much, can I at lease stream my favorite apps? Well, that would be a resoundinding "Nah" This is for discs only. Does it play well? Yes. It plays great and after that update, it brings great picture and Dolby sound to your theater setup. The only saving grace is that this easily transportable. But that's really it. In closing, if you feel you just need to watch your discs, do so on you game console of choice or find another brand with Wifi. I'm sure it'll cost less or at the very least, give you more features. Thanks for getting this far. I wish I had a prize, but all I can offer is a thanks.

Very happy with my purchase. I purchased the Panasonic DVD/Blu-Ray player primarily for it's capability to play flash drives. It does a wonderful job of playing them and also a wonderful job of playing DVDs and Blu-Ray disks.

This blu ray player works great with our TV. Picture quality is so much better than streaming. We have a lot of blu ray movies and I happy I can watch them again..

I got it because it plays 4K, blu-ray and regular dvd's. It has a great picture. Even the black and white movies look great. Creature from the Black Lagoon looks great in 4K on it
