It is a really nice plasma tv, but the problem is that it reflects light which can be really annoying....but it is still a very nice plasma tv

We wanted a large tv for watching sports and movies as a family. We also wanted one that was more energy efficient. This was a good value for us.

This was a great buy. The sales rep was awesome. He was able to save us $50 additional by giving us the on-line price. Picture quality is awesome

Great for everything from casual TV viewing to gaming. It's nice to be able to see zombies die in HD!

The Good: For barely over $600, this tv has been great. I chose plasma simply because DLP is no longer in practical sizes and plasma delivers the next best picture quality. The 600hz sub field makes everything seemless, unlike a 240hz LCD/LED that looks soap opera like. The black levels are phenomenal, allowing me to see dark movies like The Dark Knight with clarity (I had an LED that washed out dark scenes). Viera Link is very cool, as I can either turn on my PS3 and the tv switches inputs automatically, or I can switch inputs on the tv and it turns on my PS3. The remote is very universal, and can even be used with the PS3. Color reproduction is very good, though higher end plasmas and LED's do a better job, but you pay twice as much. I do miss my old DLP's flawless 6 color wheel though. The Bad: Only 2 HDMI ports and only digital optical if you want to hook up external sound. Image retention is real, as I watched Fox Soccer for 5 straight hours and the Fox Soccer Symbol could be seen lightly in the upper corner when certain colors were displayed, though after using the tv's anti-image retention program and also watching an hour of brightly colored cartoons, the image was completely gone. I am a bit more mindful now about how long images stay on screen, and use the excellent screen size button on the remote to zoom in a bit to eliminate static images like tickers. The autobrightness feature which cannot be turned off can be annoying if you are watching things that go back and forth dark scenes to light scenes, but the constant flickering settled way down after the first 200 hours of watching. It is rarely ever noticable now, as it seems the autobrightness just needed to break itself in maybe. Overall: Excellent buy for those who like movies and tv shows especially. I have never had any image retention from playing vidoegames (rpgs and sports games), but some care is needed from time to time to make sure it does not happen. The tv is lacking in the number of ports and extra features, but for the price it cannot be beat. It displays a far better picture than tvs $300-$500 more than it. The lack of options and ports is very easy to remedy, with a PS3, Roku box, and/or home theater system. Could not be happier with my purchase, despite a few minor shortcomings.

My family and I are very happy with the purchase of our new televisio set. It looks great in the living area of our house.

First flat screen. Did a lot of research and talked to friends. Lives up to my expectations. Salesman has been very good.

I love everything about this except that I cannot hook up all of my equipment to it at one time. Set up was easy, menu functions are easy, remote is easy to use.

Very good quality and price. Am not using the special features because have to purchase extra equipment to make it work. Was not aware of that when purchased.

I bought this for my son for a Christmas present and he loves it. I like LED but he is more a plasma person and so far he has not been disappointed.

Thus far we have been satisfied with this TV. We had a terrible experience with a previous Panasonic TV so I pleasantly surprised with this one.
