they were not an addition to phones I owned

It was my mistake. The customer service was great. I even bought more batteries to match the phones I already owned, thinking the would work in these new phones I purchased. So I decided to keep them in case the phones I already own need new batteries.

I could use the phone but the person on the other end of the call could not hear me. It was probably just a fluke. Best Buy gave me store credit, so that was nice.

I never had a problem with Panasonic cordless phones until this one. The rechargeable batteries drained in less than a day. I sent the phone back for a refund.

If you are hearing static on your phone, reception breaks in and out or experiencing humming noise on the background while using your cordless phone, it might be caused by a transmission or electric interference, noise can also come from the phone lines, it would be best to locate the source of the interference first and a simple method of determining this would be to verify if static is heard on your other set of phones aside from the Panasonic. Relocate or plug the Panasonic phone to a different area where there is less interference. If you are subscribing to DSL/ADSL service, it is recommended to use a DSL filter. Most DSL/ADSL service providers would have the filters available for their subscribers, you may also check out your local electronic stores for availability. -M
Terrible audio quality

Sounded like I was talking to myself and very bad background noise. It was impossible to hear the caller and this was with every call standing right next to the original phone cradle. I had to return the item.

Cheap phone

The sound quality was poor. Plus, the phone required frequent charging. I had to replace this phone system within 4 months. Not worth the price.

I later tried to return the item and was told I couldn't because it was past the 15 days which I wasn't aware of.

The phone isn’t what I read it to be under applications on the phone and it’s quite misleading!!
