Basic but reliable

I originally thought it had built in message recording system, but I made a mistake. I paired it with VOIP landline system with free voice messaging system and it serves its purpose. Stable and reliable. Very basic, so if you want built in recording, you won't have it with this system. Do your research. Go to the store and review yourself.

Easy to read display with orange backlighting. Can store numbers in phone--50 numbers...and can block phone numbers--30 so they can't bother you. It also has an "Eco-Mode" to save the battery life.

Panasonic's Cordless Phone Has NO Voice Messaging!

However, imagine my utter surprise when I couldn't program a voice message for voice mails. Then... Imagine my shock - then anger - when calling Panasonic Customer Service to find out my particular phone does NOT possess the ability to record an outgoing VM because it does NOT take messages!!! You can now imagine how angry I was, because the packaging is now recycled, so I can't return their phone to Best Buy. How can Panasonic actually manufacture a phone WITHOUT VM...??? So, to you, Best Buy... Please do NOT sell this particular phone. Its packaging is misleading, and this lack of feature is very aggravating.

Posted .This telephone does not have an answering machine and it was designed for customers who do not wish to pay for a feature they will not use. You can use the voicemail service provided by your phone company. You will need to contact them in order to set it up. This model is not advertised to have an answering machine. If you found this information on the retailer's website or our website, please let us know so we can correct the mistake. -M
