Got the phones about a month and a half later one of the phones go out probably why they were on sale

Connected to home phone network got dial tone. Then broken in two hours. No dial tone.

I chose this phone for the call block and it works great. In the first 24 hrs since I have received it I have had 3 unwanted calls and they are now blocked. Telemarketers have been driving me nuts. This replaces a year old AT@T which was junk. I have had panasonics in the past and will only buy them from now on. You can't beat the price either. Oh, I am old and I love the large letters and numbers. The instructions are easy too. A snap to set up.

I bought this phone system at a Best Buy store which only had the system in black. And was actually happy about that because black was really the color I had wanted. Also glad about this being a Panasonic brand because I do feel Panasonic is one of the best to own. I will soon turn 69 and am not at all tech savvy. But I was actually able to program the phone on my own. However, I really only programmed the basics such as my greeting message and the date and time. I stayed with all the other defaults already programmed such as the language (English) and the # of rings before leaving a message (4). I also tested the phone quite a number of times by calling my # using my cell phone. And the answering machine works perfectly. I was also glad I can hear the message being recorded from my answering machine rather than having to hit the play button to hear it after the caller hangs up. There are really many other options you can program but I just prefer these basics as that really was all I was looking for. I highly recommendf especially for the price.

This is a solid Panasonic phone. If you don't like gold, don't get impressed by the info here - this is not golden!!! The phone is white with some details in a brush metal color which resembles gold, but it's more like champagne. Good reception overall, no problems whatsoever.

Great option for people with limited mobility as phone announces who is calling. Though not always clear, the caller id announcements are very entertaining at times.

Everything works like it suppose to. Buttons and display are big, the back light is bright. Best feature, call block.

Easy to set up with phone book numbers for senior. Speakerphone is very clear. Great battery life and nice looking!!

I specifically chose Panasonic due to the Call Block feature they had on their phones. This model met my requirements and the price was very reasonable. Setting up the phone was fast and easy. It can block up to 60 numbers and adding a number to be blocked is relatively straight forward. It also uses regular size batteries, not those hard to find and expensive battery packs. Only negative is if you mount to wall, the phone sits high in the cradle.

Works as advertised, wish the screen was a little bigger, but otherwise it's fine.

I like the two handsets. Now I'm able to carry one with me throughout the house.

Its very light and works ok far away to the station.

Love these phones. Phone call quality is excellent. Love being able to block numbers. Answering machine is easy to use. By this phone system, you won't be disappointed.

needed a simple phone for my new place. reasonably priced and performs well.

Most people don't need handheld phones anymore, but if you do, these aren't bad. They'll do the job, and I like that they're expandable so you don't have to buy a completely new system if you want to add more handhelds to your arsenal.

This phone set is for someone that wants very little phone options. It has a little static but I might not blame that on the phone. It might be that we have another phone line with cordless phones and it is just the interference. Otherwise we are very happy with the set, clean - sharp style.

This phone is fine. My only complaint is that I was used to the answering device pick up of the previous model (same manufacturer). This model does not play the answer message so there is silence before the caller message is played.

Our last Panasonic phones lasted 8 years. We needed new house phones, so we just bought Panasonic again because the last phones were so reliable. These phones have one great feature. As the phone book is added on one handset, it is also available on the other handset. Otherwise, the phones have the same features. The fault with these phones is that it seems like you have to be closer to the base unit with the second handset.

Hard to find a good basic phone, it is exactly what I was looking for.
