    Needed either a new phone system or batteries for my old phone. Batteries would have been $40 and this system was $50 and uses rechargeable AA's. No brainer for me and being newer has better tech for the phone to boot.

    I love the fact that Panasonic uses a regular rechargeable battery! These phone have a terrible echo, when you talk it sounds like you are in a barrel talking to someone. Otherwise it is not as good as last Panasonic phone set that I had.
