The main phone connects to the phone line and you can put the additional phones anywhere you like. There is no need for a phone jack to use the additional phones in the set. Perfect for my home, garage, and outdoor deck!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We returned 2 AT&T phones because the feedback was so bad (imagine a high-pitched shrieking in your ear while you're trying to have a conversation--NOT FUN) The Panasonic phones have no line noise at all, and they are harder to misplace since the silver and white color is easy to spot on my brown leather couches ;)

This is great has crisp clear sound, allows you to talk when paging someone on one of the other phones not just beep them. It also plays messages thru the phone that are being left on the answering machine. Great feature.
