This was can upgrade to my older Panasonic 4 phone set. Sound and distance much improved as are the keypad.

My wife and I really like the Panasonic Cordless phone system. It has a bright background so that you can see what number and/or name is calling. I looks classy and is quite efficient with ease of voice message retrieval. We had purchased another brand and returned it within 2 weeks. The Panasonic is a keeper.

The audio caller ID and the speaker on each phone are extremely helpful.

So my mother got this phone after returning a VTech unit. She swears tgat this phone can teach twice the distance than the VTech. The battery holds an incredibly long charge, the phone is also comfortable to his to your ear for a prolonged period of time. For a basic cordless phone, you cannot go wrong with this one...

Bought the Panasonic - KX-TGD224M DECT 6.0 Expandable Cordless Phone System with Digital Answering System - Metallic black for my mother. Its easy for her to use and she can hear much better than her previous phone. She also can put it in different rooms that don't have telephone jacks.

I like the feature of this telephone which announces who is calling you.

Love having the phone announce the caller and the options for ringtones. Mine is set to Pachelbel's Canon in D!
