And a within a year the phone handsets get a distant tunnel sound in them, but it doesn’t happen all of the time, but a lot. It’s enough to cause me to get a different brand of phone and this stays just as a backup. Surprised this panosonic was not as good as my past phones from this brand.

However I bought this model specifically for the ability to connect a wireless headset via Bluetooth. The problem is that the Bluetooth only connects to the base and not the wireless handsets. This means that if you walk more than about 5-10 feet away from the base you will experience poor connectivity and dropouts. It doesn't make any practical sense to use a Bluetooth headset if you can't walk more than a few feet away from the base unit.

Great price and features

Also wish that the shape of the phone was more comfortable to hold. I thought I would be able to have a better connection with a new landline without it breaking up for those I call, and this is just not the case.

The headset volume is very limited and not nearly loud enough at full volume. The sound is not clear and very muffled. A lot of trouble understand people and at full the volume is way way too soft. My old Panasonic KX-TG7745S were much louder and crystal clear. Very sorry I bought these KX-TGD563A. I get extremely frustrated not being able to understand callers especially business calls. These are junk and very cheaply made. Seriously, don't bother.
