Very cheaply made

So instead of paying close to $80 for new batteries, we found it was less expensive to order new (plus we had reward bucks). We saw this Panasonic and had good luck with their products. This phone is so cheaply made. I need to use the base as a wall unit and it practically is facing up towards the ceiling and is hard to read. Guess I will go back to an AT&T brand. Stick with phones from a company who is a phone company .

Not What I expected

Not a good move. You have to go through too many steps to delete a number from the caller ID and the light that comes on when the phone rings is bright as heck (if there's a way to turn it off I haven't figured it out yet). I guess I will count this as a lesson learned and go back to my V-Tech.

Attractive styling but not usable for us.

We couldn't get it to even make a call correctly. We returned it and did not replace it. I was excited about all its features to block calls and tie in with the cell phones, and disappointed it didn't work.

Terrible phone set

This will be my last BestBuy purchase because when I tried to get help with this product before surgery made moving room to room carrying a phone all but impossible no one could help particularly the wasted money spent for Geek Squad.

Your telephone is alerting you that you have a new voice message from your phone company's assigned Voice mailbox. The procedure to access your voice mailbox would vary depending on the instructions of your phone company/service provider. Once you listen to your new messages, "New Voicemail" or "Voice mail msg. via phone co" should be cleared from the handset.
Note: If the handset still indicates there are new messages even after you have listened to all new messages, turn it off by pressing and holding [#] until the handset beeps.
If you do not have voicemail service through your telephone service provider that you are aware of:
Press [MENU] [#] [3] [3] [2] then press [0] to select OFF followed by SAVE to disable the Voicemail Tone Detector of the telephone.

First, you can't hear a caller's message or your default answering machine message in real time, so of no use at all in screen calls by listening. Second, I hate hearing the phone tell me, twice out loud, who the caller is. Third, the handset screen does not light up until you press a key, and that makes it impossible to read in dim light, but I guess it saves the battery that way. Fourth, none of the volumes are good for hearing impaired (not deaf by any means) as I am.
