We recently replaced our landline phones with this Panasonic 4-phone set up. Three story house, phones work on all floors. Handy setup routine that's well planned out. Lots of features, linking cell phones etc. Would buy again.

I love this phone. I had some AT&T Dect Bluetooth phones that wouldn't last more than 3 hours and the batteries were getting harder to find so after looking in Wal-Mart for replacements I picked up a Panasonic link2cell. I love it so much I took it back, went to Best Buy and got a set with 4 phones. It connects to both of my mobile phones just like the AT&T but also allows me to connect a Bluetooth headset to use with my landline. The verbal, audible and visual text/facebook/etc alerts are great! I have a Blackberry and an LG! Both connect and I receive alerts. I can definitely leave the mobiles in the bedroom on the charger and know if I have texts or even emails along with the fact the phones ring and I can set a different ringtone for each one.

We received these phone very quickly! We like that we get 4 phones with this system (our old system had 2). We've only had a little over a month -- but so far we really like it. Easy to play back messages - and you don't hear when someone is leaving a message, you just get the blinking light after they leave one. We like the block number feature and number ID. It announces who is calling, which saves us from having to look to find out who's calling.

Bought this and used for about a month. At first we loved the big buttons and the voice telling you who was calling (phone number) was a cute touch. The quality of the speaker was good. But then there were too many negatives. The phone is very slim, so cradling it on your shoulder didn't work. The screen only lights up when you pick it up, so you can't see at night who's calling. And the battery on the phone kept going out, even if the phone was on the charger all day, resulting in lost calls almost daily. You have to put your own batteries in as well, and mine were brand new, so I know it's the phone. Just too many negatives to keep it.

I have always been a fan of Panasonic and their phones have always served me well. I upgraded to this set for the Bluetooth technology and it works fabulously with my cell phone. Interference is nonexistent and the range is terrific. You can’t go wrong with this purchase.

I don't know if I can come up with fifty words without including a limerick. I got the new system to replace the old system that had died. It was as easy to set up as the old system, and has the added feature of an electronic lady saying who is calling.
"There once was an unhappy day
when my phone system failed to relay
so I hooked up another
without any bother
and now I am back on my way."
Well, it's not a very good limerick, but at least it's clean.

Landline Reliability

We depend on the reliable old landline type phone service and this Panasonic expandable system was just the ticket for our in-home needs. The handset range is the highest available. The answering machine screens all our calls for us. The intercom system is priceless for multiple users and the best part is there's no high monthly bills to pay. Just a low-cost basic monthly phone bill and we can call anywhere in the U.S. and talk as long as we need to. For homebodies, this system can't be beat.

I had an old Panasonic that lasted forever (at least 20 years!) Sadly, it finally died. So, I researched high and low to find a new phone. I ended up with this one. Let me just say that I don't need all of the bells and whistles that these newer phones come with these days, so this one fit the bill.
The buttons are large and it's pretty easy to understand how to do everything (the instructions are not much help though.) I think it might have been easier for me because it was somewhat similar to my old phone. Sound quality is pretty good, although on a rare occasion I've heard myself (like an echo) speaking back to me when I'm talking on it. It only happened once though, right in the beginning. Hasn't happened since. The ring tone selection is horrible, unless you love the sound of a casiotone from the 80's. It's either that or a plain old ring sound. It's also very loud when dialing. Don't really understand this and am not sure how to lower the volume when dialing, if it's even possible.
Overall, the phone is pretty decent, and barring these few annoyances, I've decided to keep it. (have had it for a month now.)

What's a LAN line?

So, for those who still need a Lan line, I have about 20 years experience with the Panasonic line here. My last set lasted about that long, and now I have these new ones. They're very plug and play... everything sets up in just a few minutes and you're good to go. The menus aren't super well laid out... maybe there are shortcuts to parts of it, but an action as simple as deleting a message takes 4 or 5 button presses on the phones themselves. Still, they work well and the quality of the sound is great, even when I put some range between a satellite unit and the base. That's what I needed.
