Not expandable as advertised

However we have decided we like another handset. All the information states the system is expandable, but I am not finding the part. I even contacted Panasonic, and they said to try eBay or Amazon. So, reality is this system is not expandable because the parts are not available,

On the receiving end, they sounded like they were talking in a box. It was not a crisp sound like my AT&T phone. Features were more complicated.
