We each have cell phones but still have a land line. Our old portable phones died of old age and we are very happy with these new phones.

Panasonic makes the very best landline phones. Still very necessary, particularly in business. Love the feature where you just call out a name and the phone dials that person.

The price was right and the ability to add an additional answering unit can be handy in a growing family.
