No! I can't hear you now!

Sound is garbled and almost impossible to understand the caller. We had previous units from Panasonic, but this upgrade was anything but! I wish I would have returned them.

We are sorry to hear that your experience with the KX-TGD863A telephone system did not match your expectations, especially since you've had positive experiences with our phones in the past. In such situations, we encourage you to adjust the line mode from B to A using MENU, then the key "#" and enter code 122 on a handset. Additionally, you can use the Intercom feature to make a call between handsets. If the sound quality is clear during an Intercom call, the distortion may stem from the phone line rather than the device. We also advise you to perform a base reboot by disconnecting the power and phone line for about a minute before reconnecting. Ensure the phone line is securely plugged in, and check for any damage to the cable. If problems persist and the Intercom is properly working, we encourage you to check with your service provider to rule out any line issues. Good cordless phone system

Too complicated for this computer-savvy senior.

Problem with volume changing by itself and not being able to control volume on answering machine. Will look for a more basic landline. All I need is to make calls, receive calls and get messages.
