Posted .The time on your phone is set to Caller ID automatic, which means that it will follow the setting on the Caller ID service you have with your phone company. We can change that from the settings of your phone. On a handset, press MENU then the # key and then the number 226. Go to MANUAL and press SAVE. After that, you will need to change the time again on any of the handsets and it will not change back. Hope this helps! -M

Best phone ever

It has a feature for spam calls it just light up no ringing. My mom loves it!!! The buttons are soft and easy to press for a senior with arthritis.

More than expected

More features than expected. the intercom and link to cell very handy. Only complaint so far is the standbye time compared to the old phone. Two days still is not bad.

My prior set of phones had a blinking light showing missed calls and I do miss that feature. But overall a good buy!

The cell phone would connect with the handsets for 1 -2 minutes of conversation then the call would connect to just the cell phone with no speech coming through the handset. Sound quality wasn’t as good as I’d like for using with someone with a hearing impairment

Probably not for all seniors

She was complaining about noise (probably from signal interference since it's cordless), also the volume, even at maximum, sometimes not being high enough. This is probably a good enough phone but not for some seniors. It has lots of features which take time to figure out. I replaced it with a corded phone.

Posted .If you are hearing static on your phone, reception breaks in and out or experiencing humming noise on the background while using your cordless phone, it might be caused by a transmission or electric interference. Noise can also come from the phone lines. It would be best to locate the source of the interference first and a simple method of determining this would be to verify if static is heard on your other set of phones aside from the Panasonic. Relocate or plug the Panasonic phone to a different area where there is less interference. If you are subscribing to DSL/ADSL service, it is recommended to use a DSL filter. Most DSL/ADSL service providers would have the filters available for their subscribers, you may also check out your local electronic stores for availability. Regarding the volume, it's important to be aware that this particular model is not equipped with amplification features. It's worth noting that different individuals have varying audio requirements, and some may require a volume boost rather than the standard speaker configuration, depending on their specific needs. -M
