The audio is horrible and the calls drop from the handset and go directly to the cell phone! The handset goes dead.

If you wish to adjust the ring count please press Menu, then press the # key and enter 211. After that, please select the desired ring count and make sure to press Save as well. We recommend checking that there is no other answering service active that might interfere with the built-in answering machine, such as the voicemail service. We hope this helps! - S

Don't believe its an expandable system!

In fact, they even specify the handset part/item number to buy in the manual. So, I scoured the internet for the add-on handsets, and not even Panasonic's own website recognized the add-on part number! When I called them they gave me a "suitable alternative", which I bought on-line, but they were NOT usable with the system. I ended up with a VTech system instead (truly, readily expandable - though it would have been nice to buy the extra handsets from BestBuy, they do not stock them).

Original handset model KX-TGDA86 is not available, but there are alternatives for the model, such as handsets KX-TGFA85, KX-TGFA88, KX-TGEA60, KX-TGEA61 and KX-TGFA61.-A

I bought the new ones and they are no better. I'm just calling on my cell now.

NOT EXPANDABLE

DO NOT BE FOOLED. Best Buy, nor any other retailer including Panasonic sells any phones that are compatible with this set. So if you need more than 4 handsets, you will be disappointed.
