Phones worked fine except for heavy speaker rattle/crackling, which makes hearing the caller almost impossible at times.

This model continues the Panasonic tradition of bringing excellent wireless phones to the consumer market. Four extra handsets, very good range, decent sound quality and ability to block spam callers makes this a phone of choice in my book.

purchased this phone mainly for added call blocking ability. previous Panasonic phone was providing excellent service but only allowed thirty number blocking and no area code blocking. This phone can be programmed to block up to 250 single numbers or area codes or area codes + 3 digit exchanges. Thank you Panasonic for restoring peace of mind. Also you can change ring tone which was not an option on my previous Panasonic.

We have now had these phones for several months & we love them. It is so convenient to have 4 phones ... one for each of the main rooms in the house. They work great & the sound quality is excellent.

For those of you that don't want to give up the land line this is a great system. The installation was extremely easy. I love the intercom option that this gives you. Overall a great system

This Panasonic cordless replaced an old Motorola unit. The Panasonic unit is far superior. Better sound quality, expandable to five satellite handsets, lightweight handsets.

I can't speak to the durability of the system yet, but out of the box this works exactly as expected. I like the 250-number capacity to block telemarketers and the big buttons on the phone. This is a good system if you need 5 phones.

I'm hard of hearing and am very pleased with the sound quality of this phone set. Great price also. I would definitely recommend this set to someone who needs multiple phones. My studio is in another building about 100 feet away and the phone works up there also.

This phone really looks like it is what I wanted. I let it sit before opening the box. The box was sealed with a single piece of scotch tape. I should have realized this was a return. So when I finally got around to opening the box, I found there is no AC adapter included. I would have really liked to have used this, especially with the 250 number blocking feature.

While the KX-TGE245b system has many features & multiple satellite phones, it has some kind of defect in the base unit that causes it to quit working & display "no power to base unit" even though there definitely is & the phones keep charging. I gave up after returning the 4th unit. All did the same thing either in a couple of days up to a couple of months. Best buy reps showed no interest in contacting Panasonic about it, just kept replacing the entire system time after time.
