It looks like this phone is all silver, but it was totally white on the other side, so I returned it and bought the same system in black at another store. If you don't mind the color, it is a great phone so far with great features for your cell phone and landline phone. There is a bit of a learning curve coming from a different brand phone.

The Panasonic KX-TGE274S Link2Cell Dect 6.0 Expandable Cordless Phone System with Digital Answering System - has excellent sound, but very short battery life. If you carry it with you around the house, the battery will be dead before the end of the day, even if it isn't used.

Phone is great, especially if you need multiple handsets. The call announce voice feature is very handy if you are busy and don't want to stop what you are doing unless the call is important (anncounces the caller). The Bluetooth feature to connect up to 2 cell phones is nice, as your cell phone will ring on the home phone (when bluetooth connected). When answering a cell phone using the home phone, there is a delay in the connection; It is ok, but just have to know to wait a second before you start talking. Occassionaly, the phone drops the other person's voice temporarily (just for a split second - not sure if it is the bluetooth or what), but this is a bit annoying. Can live with this, as I know when I hear the funny sound that this is what is happening. Overall, good phone.

We replaced our old Panasonic phones after the batteries died and circuits started to fry after years of abuse. We're happy with the new phones so far - they've gotten VERY heavy use from day one, just like the old phones. No complaints about the system if you are like us and still want to have a landline (for now anyway).
