If you are NOT technically savvy I would pass on this item.

Clear sound

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I prefer talking on a landline phone vs a cellphone (which I also own) because I can hear better with them and can hold the phone more comfortably for longer conversations. Additionally I can give this number instead of my cell number to retailers and some others to avoid nuisance cellphone calls and texts. It is cost effective because my cable provider offers discounts with bundled services. This phone system was easy to set up and choose desired options, importantly the sound is clear and I really like how it announces the caller for easier screening. All 3 work well. It has a call block system that you can engage too. The only downside for me was the wall mount which set the base and phone too high (first time this ever happened) so I could not use it in my home and had to set the base on my counter with a wire up to the wall jack.
