Mannual not informative and can't use features .

Please follow these steps to help you solve this issue.
1) If you have a model that has speakerphone on the base, put the call on speakerphone. If there is still noise, it may be coming from the incoming line. Try connecting to a different phone jack.
2) If connected to a modem you may need to contact your Telephone Service Provider to get a DSL filter
3) If only one handset has noise, try resetting that handset by removing the batteries for a few seconds
4) If there is noise on all handsets try changing the cord that connects the base to the wall
5) If noise is only on some calls, try moving closer to the base and away from sources of electrical interference (microwave oven, vacuum cleaner, etc.)
