If you are hearing static on your phone, reception breaks in and out or experiencing humming noise on the background while using your cordless phone, it might be caused by a transmission or electric interference, noise can also come from the phone lines, it would be best to locate the source of the interference first and a simple method of determining this would be to verify if static is heard on your other set of phones aside from the Panasonic.
You can also try to relocate or plug the Panasonic phone to a different area where there is less interference.

Is this a good life span? Looking at a possible Upgraded Panasonic. This was the second or third Panasonic. They are reliable good phones, May repurchase again.

Posted .Hi, Anne! The estimated battery life is 1 year, however it depends mainly on how often you are using the phone. The batteries can be changed when they stop holding a charge. The compatible batteries are HHR-4DPA. -M

The only thing that can improve on this phone is the battery life. My previous ones, I could go for 3 days or longer without charging them. These only last a day if you use the phone. Without using it, it lasts about 2 days

EASY AND NICE

No more robo calls!

These won’t stop the human callers because it asks you to push a number so your call goes through and the automated calls fail to push the number. Also, the numbers you enter into the phone book are allowed to ring through to you and the caller ID announces the caller. I’m only giving 4 stars because I haven’t had them long and I can’t speak to their durability yet but they seem just like all the other phones in this category.

The best landline phone at the best price

And Best Buy had the best price, and a Q&A section that assured me the phone has a headphone jack. I do wish Panasonic would make more of its models with a headphone jack, but this one has it, so I'm a happy customer!!

For example to erase messages you have to learn through the instruction book to press”#4” vs. just pressing a delete button. Is it the end of the world no, but that sums up the issue. Works. Strong system. Not intuitive.

The handset operation is a bit different. Navigating through various functions using numeric keys on the handset might seem a bit complex initially, but it offers a convenient way to manage messages efficiently once you're accustomed to it.
