Great replacement for old landline

It required replacing when the buttons on one handset would not work and replacements were not available. This phone has large buttons and can block calls. It takes several steps to block calls but it’s nice to have the option. Once I entered everyone in my phone book, it was a snap to use. Talking caller ID is great. I I had to turn up the volume to hear messages well but since have been happy with this feature. Nice phone set.

good landline phone

For those in the know, this Panasonic cordless phone system does all that is needed for not a bad price. The main unit and the cordless unit have a small footprint so a lot of space, on say a kitchen counter, is not needed. This replaces a cordless system that was many years old...it is nice that this system plays an incoming call on the cordless phone as well as at the base unit.

Great for mom

Her old phones were just that, old. Now she can have a base in the kitchen and her sitting room as well as her bedroom. She only had two phones before, so this is even better.

Not Improving With Age

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Phones are just fine…they’ll do…Have had a Panasonic phone system for 10 plus years and was expecting this newer version with 10 years of technological advancements to be as good or better…unfortunately, that’s not the case - range is less than before and sound quality isn’t as good - especially the good ol’ dial tone - sounds like it’s coming out of a tin can - after all the set up involved, just decided to live with it…

As for the range, please be informed that it can vary depending on the environmental conditions in which they are used. Keep in mind that walls, interference, and other factors can affect the range and signal quality. Factors such as the construction materials of your home or office, the presence of other electronic devices, and interference from nearby wireless networks can all impact the effective range of a cordless phone. -M
