Your time is most likely set to "Caller ID Auto", which is why is changing, depending on the time settings made by your phone company. -M

Unable to return. Very disappointed. Purchased for elder parents who are unable to use the phone due to unable to hear as speaker is not working.

Took a month to figure out that while the phones dial out and receive calls, it does not transmit dial input after connection - so you can’t hit responses (options, etc.)

My previous Panasonic was amazing. This one seems to have a lot of quirks from occasional connection issues to not dialing out. Not reliable.

Posted .Thank you for your review! Please ensure that battery saving mode is disabled, as it might dim the screen. You can do this by pressing MENU, then #, and selecting 150 > set it to OFF > then press SAVE. If you're referring to a handset, try swapping batteries with one that has a regular display to see if the issue persists. If the display remains dim with different batteries, it could be a hardware issue, and the unit may require service. -M
