Cost is reasonable for what you are getting. Base has verbal announcement of who is calling. Not enough room here. To talk about so many options.

If the phone battery gets to low then it helps you locate your handset be saying “ low battery, low battery”. I like the silver color because my previous set was all black… the silver color makes it easier to find when you lay it down and forget where you left it. Recommend this set.

I had the same brand They had lost their clarity in audio after my owing them for 15 years. Buttons are in a different location on the phones I finally got it. They are nice and worth the money. With so many scammers, users can block MANY calls. Go ahead, purchase, you will not be sorry.

Peace and quiet finally

I even took the extreme measure of creating a white list of callers that could call me. Nothing worked until "smart call blocking" It's a brilliant solution to an overwhelming problem. Other than that, the phone is above average quality with many features. It comes out of the box ready to use, but if you want to make adjustments to customize it's features, an d you are not technologically inclined, you may want to seek help from someone that is.
