Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Some nice features but, sadly, is outperformed by the Panasonic I hoped it would replace in what I consider two critical areas: range and battery life. As to range, it cannot cover my whole house while the old model was functional outside to 150-200 feet. This phone is apparently intended to be on charge almost constantly. Battery life is about 2 days off charger. The old one was could for 7 off charger. Consequently, the old one is back in service until I can find something better.

Like most new products, they have more options than you would expect. We have used the call block and I assume it is working as described, but the spammers always find a way around the programming. I do like the ability to silence and individual handset when someone is sleeping or I’ll.

With an automated call block feature, the unit screens incoming calls before ringing for allowed calls or ends the calls without ringing for calls identified as robocalls, telemarketing calls, or other undesirable calls (Caller ID subscribers only). The unit will play the greeting message for the automated call block and prompt the caller to enter an access code in order for the unit to identify whether the call is automated. Hope this helps! -C

Replaced with fresh rechargeable batteries and now they only last maybe 2-3 days. Older phones I had held a charge for at least 4-5 days sometimes a whole week. Nothing is made like it use to be. However, I would recommend the phones.

I like being able to link my cell to it! The batteries don't seem to last half as long as the old Panasonic set we replaced. I have been satisfied with them so far. These were about $100 more than our 4 phone Panasonic set we replaced, but those were also about 13 years old...

Affordable/works well

I am very happy that it is similar to my previous phone, but the cordless phones feel lighter, more cheaply made and my voice sounds odd to me, but it sounds fine to the people that I am talking to, which is what matters. It is an affordable phone that works well.

Very Disappointing!

Simply put. It does not hold the charge very long. The second thing that's disappointing is you are limited to a maximum of 6 handsets.

Please note that actual battery performance can vary based on usage and ambient environment conditions. If you find that the battery does not hold a charge even when not in use, it's possible that the battery needs replacement. Compatible replacement batteries are the HHR-4DPA model. -M
