Not a VOIP phone.

However, while on a chat, this phone was recommended as a VOIP phone. I just about had it put together and noticed it is nit a VOIP phone and returned both units. Disappointing.

Finally after 13 yrs problems started so we decided on another Panasonic. This model, bad choice on us. Poor quality volume and bad speakers

If you are having issue with the volume quality please make sure that the volume is raised all the way up on all of the handsets during calls. If you are having issues with the sound quality, please press Menu on the handset then press the # key. Following that, please enter 122 and select A. Make sure to press Save in order to save your choice. Hope this helps! - S

When I first purchased I thought it would be ok, but it's horrible. Sometimes the phone never rings and the next thing I know I have a message. The caller is identified on my TV, but the phone never rings. Just Horrible. If I could return it I would, but I had such a hard time just finding this one I honestly don't know if there is a better functioning phone or not.

Missing calls and inconsistent ringing are understandably upsetting, and that’s not the experience we want for our customers. We recommend taking a handset and pressing MENU then the pound key (#) and type 173, then choose the option Yes and press SAVE.
