Bought this model because our other phone purchased in 2019 was killed by a voltage spike caused by nearby lightning hitting the ground. This one is very similar to the older model with an added feature of being cell phone compatible. It does everything we need and nothing we don't. The 5 phone feature is very handy so you don't have to run through the house trying to grab a phone for a call you were expecting. It announces the caller in accordance with caller ID or whatever name you associate the calling number with when you set it up. Great value, great features.

This is a great buy from Panasonic. I have always purchased their telephones for years. The set is well worth the money that you pay, and you’re receiving two extra cordless phones with it. The numbers and lightning are excellent for those who wear glasses. I love everything about these phones. It lets you block unwanted numbers, and it does a whole lot more.

Excellent phone system for a landline, easy to use

I live the phone and the easy way to handle. Along with being convenient.

Love these phones. I have 4 phones in my house and I can page my children who are on different floors from the intercom. Not all of my children have phones and these phones make connecting with them so easy. Also, i do not always feel like walking up all the steps

This system is the closest thing to what I had in the past that lasted a lot of years before they wore out. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star rating is the battery life and the speaker sound, Battery will only last a day if used and speaker is not as loud as the ones I had before. Battery life on the other Panasonic set I had would last for several days, even when used a lot. Bought another brand before I found this one, so actually this costed me almost twice the price in the end. Would still recommend if someone wanted a link to cell system for home.

Easy to install, works great. It also has some new bells and whistles.

This is doing what it is supposed to fairly well. The stuff to help block spam calls is working. The one feature I miss from the older model is a good visual signal that there is voice mail.

I wish volume was louder. I could hear person better on my 25 yr old corded trim line phone. Difficult to figure out how to make call waiting work. Back in my day instructions with product told you what to do. Today more diagrams less word explanation. Plus side can walk room to room and talk. Love caller ID , like that it announces the call.

Phone is OK. Dislikes: Batteries Are only 300 mAh. Does not last long before needing to charge. Phone does prompt to charge batteries. For this price you would figure standard 700 mAh AA would be included. At least the phone uses Ni-MH. Suggest By better batteries. 2 per phone. Speaker phone not Loud Enough. Prior AT&T phone much louder using speaker phone. Like DECT 6 so not to interfere with Router.

I now have a phone in every room very clear sound easy-to-use but now I don't have an excuse for missing a call

Purchased this phone to stop robocall, and it works perfectly. After a quick download of numbers from my contact list from my cell phone, it allows all wanted calls and stops all unwanted calls by challenging the incoming call. This way if a call is not a robocall the call still can get through. I have not had an unwanted call since buying this system. The phone has all kinks of options that can be turned off or on.

We purchased these phones based on the good reviews and have been using them for about a month. I'm sure they can be used much more effectively with all the options included, but nothing we're interested in using at this time. Our previous set was also Panasonic and we were happy with those for about 15 years. The only new option we did want was the call blocking feature which works well. I don't believe these have quite the range as the old set, but good enough for our normal places of use.

Work's great. Easy set up. Numbers are easy to see as well. Blocks unwanted calls, some thing we wanted for sometime. Replace a older model Panasonic phone that was still work inking , but well outdated.

I am loyal to this brand of phone. Easy set up. Same as previous models. Clear sound. Always a winner!

We are most disappointed in the new Panasonic Cordless phone system. We were having issues with our Panasonic phones that we have had for the last 5 years, and decided to replace them. We had no idea that a new phone system would not be as good as the one we had. The sound quality is poor, the volume is poor (and, Panasonic, we are not hearing impaired), the voice that announces the caller is incapable of pronouncing simple names and sounds very irritating, and most disappointing, Panasonic removed the light indicator from the handsets that blinked when a message had not been retrieved!!!!!!!! Seriously?? Why would anyone need a sound reminder from the Base Unit when it already has a blinking light?? IT should not be necessary to LOOK AT THE SATELLITE HANDSETS TO SEE THAT IT SAYS YOU HAVE A MESSAGE. WE ALWAYS RELIED ON THE BLINKING LIGHT ON THE HANDSETS WHEN WE WERE IN DIFFERENT ROOMS. Other than the aforementioned, the set LOOKS nice and has the SPEAKER AND FLASH buttons CONVENIENTLY ON THE UPPER PART OF THE PHONE, as opposed to the bottom of the phone, Finally, amid all of the phones that we looked at, 99% of them, including the rest of the Panasonics have them in in the lower part of the handsets. For the reasons that I have outlined above, we are RETURNING THE PANASONIC CORDLESS PHONE SYSTEM WITH 5 HANDSET and we will try to somehow resurrect our old Panasonic system. We are very disappointed with the ways that a company attempts to cut corners. How about making a phone that does not have the cell phone connections for those of us who have cell phones and have no wish to connect them to our cordless phones?

I purchased this phone because despite being on the Do Not Call List, we were getting at least 4-10 nuisance calls daily coming from Medicare scammers where they want your Medicare number, as well as car warranty and insurance companies. We had Panasonic cordless phones that were 10 years old and still going strong, so we knew this was the brand to buy. They arrived really quickly, and since I got them set up, we've gotten absolutely NO unwanted calls, and legitimate calls get through. This set is worth its weight in gold. I'm 65, and if I could get it set up, you can, too. Just take your time and go step by step.
