Posted .Thank you for getting in touch! To test the sound, please make an Intercom call between handsets. If the sound quality is good, then the issue may be with your phone line. To make an Intercom call, press MENU on the handset, then press the UP and DOWN arrows to select Intercom and select another handset in the house. Have a conversation to test the sound. Also, on a handset, press MENU, then the key "#" and enter code 122, use the UP and DOWN arrows to change the line from B to A, and save the option by pressing the OFF button. Poor phones

Over 15 day return policy buy a week trying to get an answer. Paid too much for phones for poor response.

Buzzing sound in handsets

Loses the phone signal away from the base

We have had several Panasonic phones in the past and these are by far the most disappointing.

Kindly be informed that the range from the base to the handsets is not exact, as it mainly depends on the environment in which you are using the product, such as microwave ovens, Wi-Fi routers, radios, etc. that would weaken the signal. Anything blocking the base and handset will significantly reduce the range. -M

Okay for Some But Not For Me

I decided to return this system and buy the AT&T set.

no more landline, but still have home "phones"
