We had an old set of phones that work but they were showing their age. These new ones do the job and add some good features. We linked our cell phones and transferred our phone books to them. And set up the feature so our cell phone ringtone can be heard on the home phone. Nice feature. I can answer wife’s phone if she’s unavailable without having to find her cell phone. A little more than I wanted to spend - especially since the old ones still work.

Bought this set for my grandma. The large display and buttons makes it easier to use. The wireless handsets are great too as you don’t need them hard lined into a phone jack since they connect to the base station wireless.

Very nice expandable phone system

I am very pleased with it and with the updated features, such as being pre-loaded with a huge number of known spam numbers that are automatically blocked, thereby greatly reducing the number of annoyance calls.

Great phone system

Stopped the Spam Calls and other Features

Although we have had Panasonic products in the past and have been very happy with the quality. As promised the call blocking/anti-spam features work great! The instructions with the phone system do require a bit of reading as some features are 'off' by default and it requires some decision making on what might work best in your situation. (If you wish to turn them 'on') The battery life is good AND with them now using AAA rechargeable batteries it should make it easier to replace those when the time comes. This phone system really worked well for us and the blue tooth to cell feature so far has worked well enough I have left our phones connected. (I had originally paired the phones to transfer the address book contents.) We really like this new system.

Panasonic Phone Purchase

Regarding your insight about the voicemail indicator, if you are using the built-in answering system, the message indicator on the base unit will flash, and "New Message" will also appear on both the base and handsets. If you're instead using the Voicemail feature from your service provider, you should see "New Voice Mail", "Voicemail msg. via phone co." or a voicemail icon displayed on the handset.
