Should Not Be This Complicated

After 2 or 3 people tried & failed, I took it to Best Buy to get help. The customer service rep informed me that a lot of the material in the manual did not apply to my phone but to more advanced models--even though this model number was included on the manual cover. It's not as user-friendly as the previous Panasonic cordless phone I used for years, but I'm sure I will get used to it & it will serve it's purpose.

Decided to get the same ones again because they worked so well before. The old ones had just been used for so long and were not holding a charge anymore.
