I have not had an opportunity to read the little manual so I'm sure there is a lot that I need to learn. However, clarity is great, the phone verbally tells you who is calling in addition to caller ID, with a push of a button unwanted calls are moved to the block list (oh, how I love that feature!), volume is easily adjusted, it has a phone book system to store frequently used numbers. I cannot really think of anything I dislike.

When our kids were still at home there was a wired unit in nearly every room. All but one left with the kids. Most of our time is spent either in the kitchen or the living room so two portables at a great price point seemed the logical thing to do. I asked myself "Why not" as we stood in the store after considering an expandable package online. I'm glad I took my wife's advice.

At 1-ring-a-dingy, this phone, in addition to showing on the screen, also vocalizes who is calling. It is a good, reasonably priced, phone system for landline use!

We tried an AT&T phone and it was not user friendly and we honestly threw it out. We'll stick with Panasonic for a landline phone.
