I have no experience with camera and this one has been extremely easy for me to use and understand.

I'm using it mostly for taking pictures of small objects up close. Pictures show great detail.

This camera has proven to be above all my expectations and a really value purchase. The 60X zoom, coupled witha very wide lens offers all kind of capabilities for picture taking, without the fuss of changing lenses and or carrying extra equipment. We used recently on a week cruise to the Caribbean. It is equipped with excellent processor and sensor that improve the quality of your picture taking. The zoom lens at its maximum optical setting let you produce unbelivable pictures of distant subjects. I love this camera, is my best camera purchase ever. Highly recommend it, specially for old timers that like to have still photos without the complications of settings, focal distances, lenses, etc.

Got this one for my teenager who expressed interest in photography. He loves it . High Quality, has the look and feel of an upper end DSLR. Would purchase this again .

I had before the FZ28, I think that one had a bit more options and details but less zoom and pixels. This one I bought it under discount so it was a great value, the camera is great considering all the options and all the distances you can cover without changing lenses (if you wanted to change you couldnt). I recommend to regular people that like good zoom and photography without being pro.

This camera is a fantastic bargain. It is a quality product, with an abundance of advanced features. In addition to a incredible range in focal lengths (20mm wide angle, to 1200mm optical zoom) it has a built in EVF (Electronic View Finder). You won't see features like this anywhere for $300, let alone the $170 Best Buy is offering it at. The built in optical stabilization is extremely effective - I too tried my hand at taking pictures of the moon at full zoom, and the results were truly impressive. Better get yours soon, before it is no longer available.

Really like this camera. 50X zoom is great, but you'll need a tripod at that level.

Great camera, very good price from Best Buy. Almost half price from others.

I bought this camera for the telephoto lens feature and it has worked great for those long distance photos you need to zoom in on. Overall the camera has performed well under all circumstances. I also looked at the Nikon camera with the similar telephoto features although this camera at roughly half the price was a better value. Very little difference in picture quality.

Very simple to use, basically point and shoot with all the auto functions!

This is a great camera with many good functions. The zoom is incredible. The quality of the pictures come out great. Great price too.

Camera controls laid out well, focuses quickly, takes good pictures. May not have the latest bells and whistles but a great value for the price.

Many features to play with! Love the continuous frames. Excellent for taking pictures in natural light which I love to do. I'm still getting to know my camera and am delighted with the many features.

i had only owned this camera for about a month. i have been enjoying it since. easy to use, yet the quality of the pictures is great. i don't know enough technical details to write an in depth review, but what i know is that the price was right for an excellent product.
