The quality on this camera is so clear. The 4k footage exceeded my expectations for such a small camera at a affordable price.

I have owned many mirrorless cameras. The G7 has very fast focusing and produces wonderful JPEGs, something Panasonic camera's have not always done in the past. A great set of configurable external control buttons and wheels allow quick control of the shot parameters. Panasonic has a lot of experience with 4K video and the G7 shows the results. With the 4K photo, you can extract frames from video at 30 shots per second, which allows you to capture just the right moment. The one missing feature on this camera is in-body stabilization. You need to have stabilized lenses with the G7 and the result is not as good as what Olympus is producing in their stabilized bodies, such as the OMD-EM5 MkII.

So far so good, used to record a wedding. Footage turned out pretty good but could’ve been better with better lighting, can’t fault the camera for that. Record some outdoor videos and they were great. As for using it to take pictures, it’s definitely more for video recording.

This is a good camera. The HD and 4K quality is good but the auto focus is poor.

In all honestly, the price of this camera is a STEAL. This camera is definitely up there with the high ends in terms of quality. The only downside is the inability to support an external monitor.

Great camera, that shoots professional looking photos and videos right out of the box. The kit lens is very good for what it is so no need to rush and get a new one. The settings can be a doozy so definetly keep the manual nearby when operating.

This is a really great camera for you if you want to get into manual if you want to get it to 4K video and you don't want to pay the overhead for either one of these so I've been taking some really good shots and I'm really happy with this

Great camera for still and video. The 4K bursts and built in time lapse is great. The kit lens is decent. Mic input, digital viewfinder and hot shoe is a huge plus. If you like this camera also look at the G85, which is the replacement.

Really haven't used it much yet so I can't review it properly. Be aware that it doesn't come with an SD card, so don't expect to open the box thinking you can use it with out buying one. Maybe it's just me, but it seems logical that a necessary component for equipment use would come with at least a small SD card and such item just factored in with the price of the camera.

Was just looking for a camera that I can make a few videos with for YouTube and take some photos of my cats and family. This works for me and more.

I use this a lot for video, but I also take photos with it as well (Mostly for instagram because I like my instagram to have beautiful pictures) and it's an absolutely incredible camera. Even on higher ISOs it doesn't produce much noise. I love this camera, and wouldn't trade it for any other camera in the same range. (I previously had a T5i, which didn't like produce crisp video, it was always blurry (Which I see A LOT with Canon cameras, even the way more expensive ones. 4K :D)
