I get great quality photos with this camera. This was my first professional grade camera and I recommend it as a starter for anyone getting into photography. It is good for beginners and seasoned professionals alike.

My first foray into digital photography. I bought this camera on sale and I am very happy with the purchase. It is loaded with features that are not available on many other cameras that cost more, which includes 4K pics and video, as well as a fully articulating display. Excellent manual and loads of online support and tutorials. Takes great pictures and has lots of options for lenses, both native and vintage. Lightweight and fun to shoot. Definitely a recommend!

The bad: stupid lens cover that was lost within days of purchase; poor attachment The good: pretty much everything else. Ergonomic, tons of options, great results, solid build; won't say it's super easy to use, but if you're buying a camera like this, then you're probably not a novice photographer, so can't give it any strikes for that. Highly recommended.

I'm still feeling out the use of this camera and haven't had the opportunity to really get into it. However I must say that it is nice and compact and produces some nice overall nice pictures and great video. We own two canon dslr's and my fiance was like why does your camera take such good pics and better videos than the canons. I just shrugged and said I don't know lol. Nice overall camera though. Hopefully I can post some updates in the future.

Its been said pretty much everywhere online. This thing is a little beast for the price. If you're wanting to get into video and on a budget, stop stressing over cameras and get this little guy. You won't be disappointed I promise.

i ended up buying a similar model lumix fz80. i'm so happy with the camera. need to use a tripod & camera is little bulky but does the job.

Someone looking to get into videography, this camera is something you should very seriously consider. If you can get it on sale like I did at 300$ off, its a no brainer. I have used this camera to capture video for companies as big as Jack Daniels, and I have never had a complaint about the quality of the finished product. The only set back is a new client getting turned off by the camera because of its small size. They don't know any better and think bigger is better. Once they see the finished product though, they tend to stop having any kind of doubts. Don't shoot a lot of photos but the video looks amazing! 4K native and id super clean, love the look, would buy if you can get past the small size.

If you are looking to film at 4k at a budget. Look no further, Panasonic's new G7 is here. The G7 is considered the GH4's little brother. The G7 has almost similar features like the GH4 but the G7 has better ISO. Though the camera is not weather sealed, I will work hard to make this camera work for my needs. Great beginner camera! Even though I have upgraded I definitely will continue to use this camera.

With a few lens and accessories, this camera is a monster. Get a speed booster, then you can increase the shutter speed in low lighting

if you need a camera for video then this is the one you have to buy.there isnt any camera out there that will perform like this one at this price range.

I really like the camera bought it open box condition BESTBUY said condition excellent ( that mean not missing any part ????,)waiting for the camera come during holiday but I m disappointed the box open but inside no manual ,no charger and no battery ,what kind of open box is that I should state not working or damage because no battery how Do I test the camera ,BESTBUY should be consider and inspected the product before sell it to customer waste all my time and my money to return the camera ,but no way I keep the camera because no battery ,I do not care missing box or manual but the camera must function and take pictures ,I like the camera but the way Bestbuy doing this I would like to keep it but no choice to return.
