This is my first Blu-Ray player. I wanted something current, with wifi capability. Not necessarily set out for "smart" equipment, but for the price, I couldn't go wrong. I had ZERO interest in 3D capability, so this player served my interest. I've been a Panasonic enthusiast for decades. Their products have never caused me issue and have lasted years. I expect this one will too.

I have it hooked up to my seven year old Samsung Plasma, and when I turn on the DVD player, it automatically switches the input on my TV for me. No need to grab TV remote at all. Down sides are a little bothersome when setting up, and typing using the directional pad, when typing in search box of you tube takes forever.

It is small and fits anywhere, and it is easy to use.

I got this after my house was broken into and I needed to replace my ps3 that I used for a blu ray player, this was on sale for a good price, on top of that I had enough rewards coupons that I paid nothing out of pocket for it. It was very simple to set up? My 11 year old actually did it. I would def but this again when I replace my other blu ray players.

Everything I've ever owed from Panasonic has been a quality piece of machinery and this is not exception. If you own a Panasonic TV, you must own this blu-ray! The compatibility is exceptional! Easy, step-by-step setup and simple to read instructions and on-screen display. You cannot go wrong with this!

This unit is much faster than my old one, response to any request is outstanding. The menu screen allows you to quickly update or access any features. When turned off there is no warmth and only minimal heat when turned on so it is very energy efficient. If my WiFi is turned on it tells me if there is an update to the software. Can also access Netflix

i got this BR as a gift from my family since i was looking for a BR player with netflix access. it's easy to use (BR and netflix), but getting around the menus is not hard, it's just clunky. like yesterday's software. i'm sure that it was designed for ease of use, but lacks any glam. i still like it alot and would recommend it as a low cost player.

I had to make a decision and finally purchased my DVD/Blu Ray I was intimidated by trying to get this to sync with all the programs but literally, I plugged it in and easy peasy.. so simple. It walked me through it all and honestly, less then 10 minutes and it was done. Now I enjoy all my hulu and netflix in my bedroom. Ahhhh.. simplicity, love it

Bought this unit primary as a wi-fi way to access apps such as Netflix, Pandora, etc. on my main TV. Super easy plug and play set-up (you will need an HDMI cable) easy to use remote, does everything I was expecting. The Blu-Ray picture is excellent also by the way.

It's a good basic player, my son set it up for me in about 15 minutes. Wireless so we didn't have to run cords through the walls. Must point the remote directly at it, and it has an annoying high pitched whine when you are standing next to it. Can;t hear it when anything else it on though.
