Use this dvd every night to view videos and Netflix. Within one month (and I've been away 2 weeks) it's not working right. So am returning it this weekend. I think I just got a lemon and will probably buy another like it. If the next one holds up I would recommend this product.

No customer support after five. I had to leave the unit in a locked mode until the next day.

I returned this because of the Amazon problem. This lack was a deal breaker.

Picture seems somewhat mis-colored, a little too bright and washed out.

We are enjoying our new player and the many features.

My parents can use it with ease and they enjoy it.

This is a piece of junk. I could never get it to work because the disk tray would never open. The remote also tried to control my DVD burner. I took it back and bought a Sony which works perfectly.

honestly the last 2 computers I purchased at best buy and a blu ray player for my son for his birthday last year, I had no help from a sales person at best buy. the same was true with the purchase of this blu ray I just bought. my son hooked it up and told me I needed an hdmi cable which I went out and bought (nothing is stated on the box of the things that need to be purchased with the item and with no sales help I had no idea). anyway he hooked it up with the hdmi and it still doesn't work stating something about lan cable. I have no idea. I know I spent a nice amount of money for something I still haven't used. it's been over a month so I probably can't even return it now.

Purchased two of these Blu-ray players now for the bedrooms in our home as the space provided in our matching furniture TV units for any component items is somewhat small and so the space provided is a real issue for us. Great little Blu-ray player for bedroom use. Picture quality is very good and the remote is very simple to use. Set up was quick and easy. Pricing is very reasonable as well. Plus the wife is happy as we can have Blu-ray in the bedrooms and the unit fits into the limited component space in our TV units nicely. A good purchase for a bedroom or kids room where you don't need, or can't fit, a top of the line Blu-ray player.

It freezes, not allowing any operation frequently. I'm planning on returning it

Good Product. The controls on the box don't give a rewind or fast forward selection. These are however, on the remote.. All in all I am biased toward Sony.

its only Wi-Fi capable. would need to purchase Wi-Fi stick for true Wi-Fi ready. This was not noted on box or by sales associate.

Needed something that had Wi-Fi and Apps but either Wi-Fi or hard wired it would freeze where I had to unplug it to reset it.

Simple to use but the app quality and overall picture delivery is mediocre.

We bought this blu ray player from a Best Buy sales person's recommendation. Very happy with the quality, the price, it's easy to use. My husband liked the apps on it. It is real slim, fits anywhere! The price was comparable to others we were looking at and what we wanted to spend. Easy to set up. So far, no problems at all. Very pleased.

I just bought the Sony Smart 3D Blu-Ray Player BDPS5100 here at Best Buy last week for my bedroom, and got this Panasonic player yesterday for my main hookup in my livingroom.. I'm replacing an 5 yr old Samsung Blu-Ray Player. The new players all seem to be a heck of a step up in features, and speed of operation over older players. I have a Panasonic Plasma HD TV so I got this player to interact with it. I must say I'm impressed with this player as well as my new Sony Blu-Ray player. Blu-Ray Players have come along way from just a few years ago. I don't see much difference in either one of my new players far as picture quality and speed of use, both are excellant. The only gripe I have with this Panasonic player is the included online apps for streaming...Netfix, Hula Plus, etc. Only 6 apps come with this player while my new Sony player included almost a 100. It connected to the internet through Wi-Fi quick and easy....process was much better than my old Samsung player. Had only a slight learning curve, I setup this player without looking at the instruction manual.. I like the fact it interacts with my Panasonic HD TV,. It has ample hookup options.... HDMI, USB Port, Ethernet Port, etc.. I can work both the TV and player either with the players remote, or my Tv remote. It loads Blu-Ray and DVD dics very fast. Regular DVD discs looks almost as good as Blu-Ray, the upconvert quality is very good. It notified me of a firmwear update right after I connected to the internet and the update installed very fast. Best Buy has this deck on sale this week, so It's a heck of a bargain at a very reasonable price. My only disappointment with this player is the limited streaming apps. Streaming content from the internet was one of my reasons for purchasing this player. Other than that I think this a good player. Reasonable price, Excellent picture quality, excellent operation speed, ease of use, little learning curve. This player makes my 5 yr. old Samsung player look and feel very old and dated.. I give this player a thumbs up...way up.

Small form factor and silent operation; however, the HDMI video went out on it within three weeks of purchase.

I decided to buy this blu ray player to replace another brand I brought back. I am glad I decided on buy this model. It has a sharp crisp highly detailed picture. The contrast, colors, and all the detail are second to none. I don't use it for streaming so I can't say one way or the other about it. It is easy though to hookup to the internet and update the firmware without any hassle. All in all a great blu ray player. Great BD playback and DVD playback is very good.

Overall I believe this is an excellent buy for the price ($99 @ Best Buy). There are only 2 minor issues I found, but didn't feel they were enough to downgrade this from Excellent to Good. These issues are: 1. Any modern network device that supports streaming media from the Internet or DLNA Media Servers should support WiFi N on 5Ghz band which was designed for faster streaming media. This only supports WiFi N on 2.4 Ghz. However, this connection has been very stable at 300Mbps without any lag in streaming. 2. Folder navigation when accessing DLNA Media Servers needs improved. When you return to a higher folder level it always goes back to the top instead of where you left off. This is annoying because you have to keep paging down until you get back to where you were. However, streaming my iTunes library or Movies from my DLNA Media Server works great. I've seen a few reviews on this player where people said it kept locking up and they had to unplug to reboot. I've had this player for 3 months and this has Not happened and is working fine. It originally had firmware version 1.35 and has notified me every time an update was available. Every update worked without issue and I'm now up to 1.38. The Audio Video quality is great and I would definitely recommend this Blu-Ray player.

Easy set up. Basically hook your cables up. Very nice 1080p pictures. Wi Fy for my internet connections. Has a stand alone button for Netflix.
